Advanced and Deep Tissue Massage: 21.10.12 Halesworth This was an excellent course and I really enjoyed my time with Jacqui and the other students. The content was excellent - the right balance of theory and practical. We were all closely assessed during the practical session which gave me confidence to know that I was doing things correctly and if not Jacqui would point me in the right direction.

Jacqui is excellent. She is very inspiring. It's been difficult in the recession but Jacqui is proof that with hard work and enthusiasm anything is achievable. I've felt a little out on a limb since qualifying a year ago and was downhearted about my progress and where I was heading. Jacqui has helped me look at what I'm doing in a different light and to have a little more self belief. Jacqui's knowledge of the subject was second to none.

Venue was good - even though we had to be relocated to another part of the New Cut building this didn't make any difference. We had everything we needed (apart from a kettle!)

Very much so - probably beyond expectations. I would definitely consider another course. In fact I've already been looking.

8. What made you decide to book with Gateway?

Location of courses and the accreditation with FHT. The variety of soft tissue courses also appealed as I can build on the foundations I have with my Level 5 Diploma and look more deeply into the various areas of soft tissue treatments.

Yes. Jacqui kept in touch by email and text regularly and made sure that we were aware of the changes of location at the venue.

Some manuals include simple hand drawings - we are sometimes asked why did we not provide photos instead?

We found that simple drawings are easier to mark out (directional arrows) which can be lost on photos we appreciate these may look rather basic but it is an added visual tool which we hope you found useful.

Yes - I've looked through the manual several times (bed time reading) just to keep the techniques and routine in my mind. The little extras provided such as the up-to-date consultation forms, aftercare advice etc are all really helpful.

I didn't but think I may purchase this in the next week or so depending on how my next few treatment sessions go. If I feel the need to have this as a reminder then I will definitely purchase the DVD.

Maxine is so inspirational, she has such empathy and a wonderful calming way about her. She is so knowledgable and enthusiastic about the subject, you just cannot help but be enthralled and inspired by her!

I attended Mysteries in Covent Garden. It was a lovely room, comfortable and relaxing in a fabulous part of London.

Yes this course more than lived up to my expectations. It was a very powerful experience, which is hard to put into words.

Just attended the advanced deep tissue course in Halesworth. It was very good. Everyone was at a similar level so able to all go at a really good pace as there is alot to cover in one day. Jacqui is a great tutor, very informative & patient. I will definately be looking to attend further courses with her.

Venue is good as it sets the right atmosphere, it's very calming and love the shop downstairs.

I was amazed how much I didn't know about crystals, and found it fascinating, I can't wait to put what I learnt into practice.

Rhian was an excellent teacher - very thorough and explained things clearly. She is very lovely and obviously knows her stuff and I felt at ease that she could help me learn what I need to know.

Rhian's venue is perfect! Easy to get to, central and a good size for the class sizes.

I will definitely book other courses through Gateway. I have done lashes and gel nails now and I've been very impressed so look forward to more upskilling.
