Looking after people and helping them to feel better is something that has always been natural to me. From my early teens, I had a keen interest in all things holistic and regularly gave massages to my mum.

In my 20’s I worked assessing young people with Epilepsy and Autism. My interest in the holistic industry never waned and I enrolled on a beauty course to study on my day off. It was when studying the massage aspect of facials, that I realised that this is what I wanted to do. I discovered and studied Reiki for the first time.

During this time, I also worked as a tutor for young people who could not attend school for various reasons and as an HLTA, covering classes for teachers during their free periods. I loved teaching children but wanted to work with adults. In my spare time, I continued to treat people privately.

I did my Access to University and studied for 2 years at degree level with the Open University in a variety of subjects including Autism, Counselling, Mental Health and English Literature. I also studied NLP.

I now run my own successful business, providing various massage treatments, Corporate Massage and Reiki.

I have volunteered to treat the staff at my local hospital during a Wellness event and also at my local hospice.

I am a Reiki Practitioner for people and animals and a Sound Therapy Practitioner.

As well as treating people at home, I have worked in a 5* Spa and was a mentor to new staff. I was excited to fulfil my ambition to teach when the Gateway opportunity came along. I am passionate about all aspects of this wonderful industry.

I am committed to continuous learning and growth. Teaching others not only gives me the opportunity to pass on some of my knowledge and introduce others to different aspects of the massage world but also serves to deepen my own understanding.
