Like most, I came to sports massage and remedial soft tissue therapy by way of a journey.
I have always had a passion for caring for others. During my early working career in childcare, nursing and optical care, I was intrigued by the body’s systems and physiology functions and the importance of delivering a client centred approach.
I learnt each individual’s physical health and well-being is of paramount importance and very much individualised, so treatments, approach and teaching should be tailored accordingly.
This gave me the desire to broaden my knowledge even further in anatomy, physiology and the workings of the human body.
I completed 2 years further education in sports massage level 3 & 4 and began building my clientele as a mobile therapist, which rapidly progressed over a year and allowed me to go fully self-employed and open my ongoing successful clinic in 2018.
Continuing my education, I qualified as a level 5 sports massage therapist.
I thoroughly enjoy the rewards of helping students reach their full potential and goals by sharing my knowledge and experience.
I endeavour to keep up the practical side of my profession in my own clinic as this keeps me inspired and in the real world, as-well as continuing professional development to further advance my knowledge and most importantly to keep up to date with the most current evidence- based practice.
I am passionate and enthusiastic about providing the very best quality of training working as a tutor for Gateway Workshops - UK & Ireland's Leading Award-Winning School for Massage & Beauty Professional Courses.
Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced therapist, I thrive to meet your expectations, helping you to reach your goals.
