Vicky Purdie

Hi, my name is Vicky. From a young age I have been interested in completing treatments on my friends nails. When I was 15 years old I got the chance to go to college part time and this is where I knew beauty therapy was the career for me. When I was at college I studied beauty therapy and massage and then went on to work in a beauty salon.

After a few years of working away, I decided to open up my own salon, which has been running successfully for over 9 years. This is where I found my passion to teach as I have completed a lot of in-house training over the years. 

I have done a lot of extra beauty courses over that period too in order to keep up with the moving times, as I firmly believe that everyday is a school day.

I love teaching and am committed to sharing my knowledge and passion for the beauty industry. When I received an amazing opportunity to join Gateway Workshops and become a tutor, I definitely couldn’t pass the opportunity up.
