Hello, my name is Laura, I have been a fully qualified holistic therapist for over 25 years. I knew this was the career I wanted to follow from a young age. After qualifying in Beauty and holistic therapy, I started my career on 5* luxury cruise liners and exclusive yachts, travelling around the world whilst offering luxury treatments. Through this, I gained worldwide skills working in a multicultural team where high standards were paramount and I have kept these exceptional standards throughout my career.

On returning to land, I then went on to set up, manage and train staff in prestigious spas/clinics in England and Scotland, this is when I developed a love of training, and passing on my skills and knowledge. I also took on an amazing opportunity as a treatments manager in a luxury wellness retreat spa abroad surrounded by the Aegean sea.

Throughout my career, I have gained a wealth of experience, skills and knowledge in an ever-changing industry. I thoroughly enjoy training students, having worked in further education and colleges passing on my skills gained to my students and watching them thrive.

This career has given me so many amazing opportunities that I am so grateful for, and I am now looking forward to my new chapter working as a Tutor for Gateway Workshops as I believe the professionalism of the company is exceptional.
