From the outset of my professional journey, I recognised Shiatsu as a practice that would profoundly shape both my personal and professional life. My first introduction was in London in 2003, and it was an experience that highlighted the power of touch, presence, and embodied awareness in supporting emotional and physical wellbeing.

Over time, this practice not only informed my clinical work but also supported my own health, contributing to the resolution of long-standing respiratory issues and offering a flexible yet grounded framework for living and working.

Alongside Shiatsu and Traditional Chinese Medicine, my passions include Sports Massage, pre-post pregnancy work, Myofascial release and a nervous system-informed bodywork style, as well as spiritual practices.

My work has been shaped by both professional and life experience. Caring for my father during his final illness significantly informed my sensitivity to vulnerability and my work with individuals living with disabilities, mental health challenges, and chronic conditions. I currently run a social enterprise in North London that is dedicated to inclusive, community-focused holistic care, alongside my ongoing clinical and teaching practice.

With over 22 years of experience as a bodyworker and therapist, my teaching focuses on supporting students to develop confidence, clear boundaries, and trust in their embodied intelligence. I aim to provide a structured, supportive learning environment that encourages experiential learning through breath, movement, sensation, and presence. I look forward to welcoming students and supporting them on their learning journey with Gateway Workshops.
