I have been working in the health, beauty, and wellbeing industry since 1992, building a career that has been driven by a passion for holistic health, continuous learning, and helping others achieve their goals.

After training in London, I gained valuable experience working in a variety of salons and spas, treating clients from every segment of society. My first role was in a prestigious 365 salon, where I received an excellent grounding in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest professional standards. As my career progressed, I moved into salon management, where I discovered a particular love for mentoring apprentices and supporting others as they developed their skills and confidence.

Learning has always been a passion of mine, and I firmly believe that personal and professional development never stops. I continue to expand my knowledge and skills, and I am currently studying for a Psychology degree with the Open University. My holistic approach influences everything I do, and I am endlessly fascinated by the connections between physical wellbeing, mental health, and overall quality of life.

When my children were young, I took a career break from the beauty industry and worked as a teaching assistant. I thoroughly enjoyed supporting students in their learning, and it was during this time that my journey into formal education truly began.

In 2008, I established my own business, which I continue to run today. Over the years, I have built a large, loyal client base and maintained my commitment to ongoing professional development, continually training in new techniques and therapies as they emerge. I am passionate about all aspects of wellbeing and holistic health and love researching the latest developments in the field.

Having trained with Gateway on several occasions throughout my career, I was always impressed by the exceptional quality of the courses and the supportive, inspiring teaching style. Those experiences encouraged me to pursue my own path as a tutor a few years ago, since then I have had the privilege of teaching and supporting students as they begin or develop their own careers.

When the opportunity arose to join the Gateway team as a tutor in the Brighton area, I jumped at the chance and feel incredibly proud to be part of such a respected training organisation. I can't wait to share my knowledge and passion with you and look forward to welcoming you to a class in Brighton soon!
