Cons of Buccal Massage:
* Discomfort or Pain:
Some individuals may experience initial discomfort or even pain during the massage, particularly those with high jaw tension.
* Potential for Inflammation or Bruising:
If not performed correctly by a trained professional, buccal massage can cause irritation, inflammation, or even bruising, especially if the practitioner is inexperienced.
* Not Suitable for Everyone:
Individuals with certain dental issues, active skin infections, or recent Botox or filler treatments should avoid buccal massage.
* Temporary Results:
While some immediate effects like reduced puffiness and muscle relaxation may be noticeable, maintaining the results typically requires regular treatments.
* Risk of Infection:
Due to the internal mouth massage, there is a risk of infection if proper hygiene and sanitation practices are not followed.
