My name is Sital Ladva. I have been working in the beauty/massage industry for the past 16 years. I have always been about the industry and at the age of 16 I joined Reading College to study Massage, Hair & Beauty. I realised very quickly that this was going to be my career. Whilst at college I worked as a part time therapist in a spa at a local hotel which I loved, I was able to research a number of different treatments and products.
I went on to being a full time therapist once I had completed my course which I stayed in until I was 21. In this time I grew a huge amount of experience and was fortunate enough to financially be able to open my own salon at the age of 21.
The salon offered a wide range of massage and beauty treatments. I had many staff working for me and my business grew so well I was able to start a family, I continued to grow my business and teach many other therapists the knowledge I have gained. This is what led me in to teaching. I am now 34 and have been teaching and assessing a range of massage and beauty treatments for the past three years and absolutely love passing on my knowledge to other people and seeing students being able to grow with the information give.
I have worked in further education and at the largest private college in London but what I love the most is that I am able to be a tutor for Gateway Workshops. I have never been so happy to have worked for such an established training company that provide an amazing range of courses to only six people at a time. Keeping the classes small makes it easy to provide one to one tutoring which gives the students dedicated time throughout the course day. I always look forward to helping enhance peoples lives and see them grow as therapists.
Sital was absolutely amazing! She was very informative and encouraging. Before the course she always responded to any questions I had and I would definitely book on more of her courses.
