I have been interested in complementary therapies and in particular massage since I was a teenager, but it wasn't until I'd had my 3rd child that I finally got the chance to train as a holistic massage practitioner. I quickly followed this with Indian Head massage, Sports massage, Reflexology and Reiki.
I am trained in Massage, Osteopathy and Nutrition. I firmly believe that no matter what qualifications or experience one may have, we can always continue to learn from each other.
I first became interested in Massage and Natural Health whilst living in New Zealand and studied with a Naturopath where I qualified in Therapeutic Massage. On returning to this country in 1992, I studied at The Raworth Centre, a college for Sports Therapy and Natural Medicine, where I gained Internationally recognized certificates.
I enrolled on a ITEC Beauty Therapy course qualifying in Advanced beauty therapy, waxing, advanced hand and nail treatments, electrical facials, colour consultancy and LHE hair removal and have not looked back since.
Choosing this path has enabled me to travel with my job, allowed me to fulfil my love for meeting people from all kinds of cultures and backgrounds, and taken me to all sorts of environments, from Yoga retreats to Doctors’ Surgeries.
Over the last 18 years I have continued to build upon my own skills and share my knowledge with students, helping people to heal is my life’s work & it gives me much joy in being able to offer treatments & classes to people from all walks of life.
