Martin Lewis can be a great source of good up to date information - see below:
Will the self-employment scheme & mortgage payment holidays etc be extended too? Nothing's been announced yet. Frustratingly No.10 again turned down MSE's request to ask questions at the press conference - I would've asked the above.
Staggeringly, we're now in a position that the self-employed scheme ends in three weeks (it currently covers March to May pay) but the employment scheme lasts for five more months. It'd be perverse not to extend it. Though there's (unsubstantiated) talk of the income threshold being cut from the max £50,000 profits. Updates will go in Self-Employment Help.
As for payment holidays, most are still available to apply for, and will continue to be for at least a month, and most last three months after application. Whether it's a formal regulatory extension or simply pressure put on big banks to extend the holidays for those in need, I'd be surprised if these weren't extended. I suspect we'll hear this month.

No our industry cannot go back to work yet, for the reasons outlined below, as we cannot apply the 2m social distancing rule which is still in place.
It’s a wait and see situation because we have to monitor things, it might be late June or July but only if we keep the ‘R’ number down, there’s no decision as they have to see if things are safe after gradual lifting of the lockdown.
Therapists (mobile and at a salon) and training schools can’t open yet and people just have to be patient. Any changes are minor for next 3 weeks, if we rush back now and it gets a grip again we will be back to square one and thousands will die so we need to wait for another 3 weeks which is the right thing to do.
If you are in Scotland, Ireland and Wales they have their own updates, I’m based in the England so we are sharing this
Basically he’s saying you can only go back to work if you can’t work from home and only if you can put into place social distancing at work, so that rules our industry out at the moment
These new rules and regulations only apply to England.
Simplifying what Boris said:
STEP 1
The above new measures will be monitored BEFORE moving to step 2 if there is no major increase in infections.
STEP 2
⛔Social distancing rules stay in place and must still be followed.
⛔Visiting other households is still not permitted.
⛔Social gatherings are still not allowed.
⛔You do not have to return to work if your place of work is not yet allowed to open or your employer chooses to remain closed.
⛔Restricted movement is NOT over; it has just been slightly relaxed to see if doing so has an effect on the reinfection rate (R value)
⚠️Boris made it clear if the steps are not met then social distancing and restricted movement will carry on until the steps are met!
⛔STAY ALERT.
Remain aware and vigilant; the virus is still a threat to your health and the health of others.
⛔CONTROL THE VIRUS.
Continue to control the spread of the virus by adhering to social distancing guidelines, avoid or restrict contact with outside of your household.
⛔SAVE LIVES
Do your part to help stop the spread of the virus to yourself and others.
