I think Claire is an amazing tutor! She is so welcoming and friendly and explained everything thoroughly. Claire is a lovely character and very easy to talk to.

I trained at The Natural Living Centre in Hertford, it was very easy to find and has parking on site. Easy peasy!!

7. Did the course you attended live up to expectation? Would you consider attending another course with us, if not tell us why.

Yes!! Better!! I did the Gel Extension and Gel Polish course and I was not going to initially think of using the extensions but after the days training I am super excited to purchase kits for both systems!

8. What made you decide to book with Gateway?

I decided to book with Gateway because I did a course with Gateway prior to this one. I Initially chose Gateway because the website was so informative and lots of courses available. This time, the date and venue was really good for me and I am glad I booked with Gateway. I look forward to coming again!!

Was the tutor easy to contact before and after your course if needed?

Yes I got an email from Claire straight away. I e-mailed Claire before the course and she replied within 24 hours.

Some manuals include simple hand drawings - we are sometimes asked why did we not provide photos instead?

We found that simple drawings are easier to mark out (directional arrows) which can be lost on photos we appreciate these may look rather basic but it is an added visual tool which we hope you found useful.

I think Gateways manuals are fantastic! Bible.

In the past 2 days I have attended GW Brows and gel nails and polish. Both courses where excellent, all questions where answered throughout the courses.had a lot of practical time and had the full attention from the tutor throughout the day.

Rhian is a very good tutor who is very supportive throughout the day! I have specifically booked courses with Rhian since the very first course I took with gateway as she is very thorough,approachable and friendly.she has a lot of knowledge about the industry and is very encoraging throughout the course.

Both recent courses where on goodge street! The venue was very spacious and clean.there was plenty of room to work in and the venue quite clearly stocked everything needed to do the courses!i was pleased to see health n safety notices up and would definatly do my next course there.it was right near the station making it very accessible.

Yes I have done 4 courses so far with Rhian and will definatly book more courses in the future!

I found the web site easy to navigate, each course has all the information needed and a full list of course times and venues.

2. Where did you hear about us?

I did a google search as I wanted to do a gel course and found the Gateway website.

3. What course did you attend and what feedback would you like to leave?

I did a uv gel course. The venue was in an actual running salon. There were only 2 students in total so it was nice and personal with one on one tuition. Cosidering it was one day I learnt a lot and feel confident to go out and do peoples nails. The manual that you take away is a good reference guide.

4. Who was your tutor?

My tutor was Claire Marshall who was lovely. She went through everything slowly, nothing was rushed, she answered all of our questions and gave us lots of advice and tips.

The venue was a bit far for me to travel but I can honestly say I would travel that distance again to do another course with this tutor. Claire was very patient and made sure we knew what we were doing at each point. I had a great day and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

The venue was in a running salon. The directions given to me in an email were good and I found the venue relatively easily considering I didn't know the area at all. The venue was Beau Monde Beaty Rooms in Billericay and the training room was a good size and we used products that Claire used herself. There was parking available outside and shops near by to get food etc.

7. Did the course you attended live up to expectation? Would you consider attending another course with us, if not tell us why.

The whole course exceeded my expectations. I couldn't help but think that I couldn't possibly learn everything that I needed to know in one day. But as I said there were only 2 students so it was literally one on one tuition. I am definately going to book other courses, I already have a list of courses that I would like to attend.

8. What made you decide to book with Gateway?

I decided to book with Gateway after checking out the reviews and reading through the website thoroughly. I was impressed by the reviews and of course the price was very affordable, also the fact that it was one day that meant that I only had to juggle things for one day and not several. I also like that you get your certificate quickly.

Was the tutor easy to contact before and after your course if needed?

I got my booking confirmation through quickly and I paid via a bank transfer which was quick and easy. The email although lenghthy did contain everything I needed to know, how to pay and information that I needed to send back to Claire.

I have subscibed to the monthly newsletter, I got one just after signing up. It's a good way of keeping up with new courses.

The manual I was given is good and contains all the information that I need, although I was told that I would be receiving an updated manual soon that would have more pictures to follow.

There is not a dvd available for this course which I was a little disappointed about. The manual is good but it would have been nice to have a visual reminder of the different steps as well. I would have liked a dvd going through step by step each of the nail gel types. For example a french gel with extension from start to finish and a gel polish from start to finish. I also would have liked to purchase a small kit so that I could go and practice straight away. I left the course feeling very inspired it would have been great to take away a small kit with everything in it that you used that day.
