Yes, the website is very good and the information very helpful. It is one of the best I have come across and it was one of the reasons why I decided to take the workshops with Gateway.

I heard about you through a Google search on Reiki training. I was surprised that I had not come across you before.

3. What course did you attend and what feedback would you like to leave?

I took the Reiki Seichem Parts 1 & 2 Practitioner course. The training was excellent and presented in a a very understandable way. I feel that I learned more in the one day with Maxine then I have done on multi-day courses I have attended with other providers.

My tutor was Maxine Fone.

Maxine is an excellent tutor. She guided us through the training in a gentle but thorough way and never faltered when we had any questions about the content. She is an intuitive teacher and could sense when we needed additional explanations or she needed to allay our fears in carrying out the work post-training. The practical training was spot on. The technique that she used, which included allowing us to "follow our noses", was exactly right. We were able to concentrate on what we were trying to learn rather than getting stressed about having to memorise pages and pages of text. I was also impressed that Maxine explained and demonstrated everything, rather than just saying "do this" or "do that". She gave us a depth of understanding, which has sometimes lacked in courses I have taken elsewhere. I was very impressed.

The venue was pleasant and peaceful and in a lovely part of London. It was easy to get to from the mainline train.

It exceeded my expectations. I have already booked 2 more courses with Maxine and will be booking at least one more in the new year.

8. What made you decide to book with Gateway?

I booked with Gateway because of all the information that was provided on the website and the accreditations associated with the courses. Many courses advertised with other providers are not accredited or do not offer the possibility of membership in professional bodies after. The latter is particularly important to me as it gives comfort to my clients and credence that my qualifications are recognised.

Yes, I did receive confirmation of my booking and the tutor was and is very easy to contact. Maxine is also doing email follow-up for 3 weeks after the course and has also said that we can contact her anytime we need to.

I found the manual and hand drawings perfectly adequate. It also shows that there are real people working at Gateway, not just computer operators. For me personally, someone taking the time to draw out illustrations shows a level of dedication that is rare.

Reiki/Seichem parts I and II with Maxine Fone. There was quite a lot of info at the beginning, followed by the attunements and then some practice sessions. Each was set at the right level not too much not too little. The room even though below a busy little shop felt just right too.
